O Muses! Midway through their sojourn now, standing on the mountains peak.

Led along by the lights lingering flame, hope encased inside and released when renamed, a shield in a long lasting dream.
A covering from the night’s breeze, and sun for the morning’s lead.

Come now, sing praises of the journeymen who’ve kept their true sight. Though seasons scorned the clock, their now halfway out of the dark, in a movement merely more than a fortnight.

With more confidence their feet ride, even with slower stride.
O Muses! The mountain peak yields more than snow and bitter ice.

An echo carried on the frozen wind, with divine direction leads them, to an impossible door with a golden number four that carries an illuminating chaste.

They opened the door, with no such haste, and walked through to the same ice space.

But looks might deceive, for they walked through to the journey’s second part, and this dear Muse will take new heart, for they must face who they are to be what becomes.

And through their reflection they’ll find the sum, of the burning questions of what’s to come.
